Way back in the good old days circa 1975 a little girl heard a poem:
Labour for learning before you grow old, for learning is better than silver and gold. silver and gold will vanish away, but a good education will never decay.
Words of wisdom.
Literary gems to live by.
Fill the grey matter with information.
I wonder why we have not heard this poem for a long time? Is it that persons are not being cultured to take learning seriously? Do we as a society really believe that learning is better than silver and gold?
